PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Ms. Wheeler is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Good to Great Engineering and Technical Services; and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Wheeler Advisory Group. In both roles, she brokers collaborative initiatives with the Department of Defense, Defense Contractors, Nonprofit Organizations and Local Government, in order to solve real-world problems through win-win solution sets. Ms. Wheeler assumed leadership roles with her Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned business ventures in March 2009.

Before launching her small businesses, Ms. Wheeler served in a number of leadership roles with Raytheon Company from June 1996 until December 2010. Ms. Wheeler was certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt while in tenure at Raytheon. Prior to joining Raytheon Company, she was an undefended Defense Contractor, supporting work for various Classified customers with Lockheed Martin, GTE Government Systems, and PRC, Inc. In 1992 Ms. Wheeler was granted an Honorable Discharge from the United States Air Force, having served as a Cryptographic Equipment Maintenance Specialist. She is a decorated Gulf War Era Veteran.

Ever civic-minded, Ms. Wheeler has also held leadership roles with Denver Road Home, the Aurora Chamber of Commerce Leadership Board, Aurora City Council Commission for Youth, and the Raytheon Company Integrated Defense Systems President’s Culture Initiative.

Additionally, she served as a math tutor with the Colorado Association of Black Professional Engineers and Scientists and the Denver Public Education and Business Coalition. Ms. Wheeler currently serves Colorado Homeless Prevention Advocacy Program, the Colorado Veterans Advisory Group, the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, and the Metro Denver Homeless Initiative.
