PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Kristopher Tetzlaff has been a devoted IB French teacher and served as the Students for Social Justice Sponsor, he worked as an IB CAS Coordinator, and a C.A.R.E. teacher and mentor of Equity and Culturally-Relevant Instruction at Cherokee Trail High School in Aurora, Colorado. Kristopher began his career in education at St. Colmcille's Community School in Dublin, Ireland in 2005. Subsequent to overseas teaching, Kristopher taught undergraduate language and literature courses at the University of Connecticut while earning his Master's degree in French. He has dedicated seven years at Cherry Creek School district, working with elementary, middle, and high school students. In 2013-2014, Kristopher served as an organizer and founding member of Colorado Student Power Alliance, a grassroots organization that aims to empower youth in the struggle for educational and restorative justice. Kristopher is currently teaching IB French at Dhahran High School in Saudi Arabia. He is a fluent French speaker.
